Kala is a licensed massage therapist with over a decade of experience working at the highest levels of the wellness industry. Her foundation was shaped inside four and five star resort and spa environments, where discretion, and excellence are not optional, they are the standard. Kala is Forbes five star trained, a distinction that reflects not just technical skill, but mastery of presence, professionalism, and care.
Her work blends therapeutic massage, lymphatic principles, advanced body sculpting techniques, wood therapy, and nervous system support. Over time, Kala developed her own framework known as The Kala Method™, a system shaped in intelligent touch and a disciplined approach to the body. This method emphasizes reading physiological response in real time and applying skill with intention rather than force.
Kala was the first practitioner to introduce PureSculpt® in Atlanta and is honored to be the first African American English speaking female instructor for Maderoterapia through Academia Maderoterapia USA. Her instruction focuses on advanced sculpting and wood therapy techniques while translating traditional methods into modern, professional practice.
Her touch is sought after by high performing professionals, athletes, creatives, and public figures who value discretion and thoughtful care. While her background reflects elite training and experience, ATL BodyWorks® remains accessible to those simply seeking intelligent touch and a higher standard of bodywork.
When she is not working with clients, Kala treasures time with her grandchildren, Chase, Clayton and Journey, as well as her children and family. Her legacy vision is to train the next generation of wellness practitioners to view the industry through a broader and more refined lens, one grounded in integrity, nervous system education, self respect, and excellence in practice.
For those that know…stop playing, and come get these hands!
